Gertie the Great

Gertie, short for Gertrud is an old Norse name which means "strength."  In Norse mythology, Gertrud was a goddess.

This dolly is anything but dainty and fully embraces her namesake.

Our girl is bold in orange and black blooms with her mighty horns, funky do and a smirk that says it all.  She is mounted in a vintage pewter mug.
